What resolve shown from our boys, down 8 points in the 62nd minute and turned it around. Could have even been a win only for a Ballyhooly free with the last puck of the game to make it all square at the full time whistle.

The table now reads:

Ballyhooly 3 points (+4)
Buttevant 3 points (+4)
Clyda Rovers 2 points (-3)
Killavullen 0 points (-5)

Killavullen are now eliminated so there are 2 places up for grabs between the top 3 teams.

Our last group game is versus Clyda on Saturday 5th September at 6.30pm in Churchtown.

Round 2 of Hurling Championship tomorrow after a great first round win against Killavullen, who lost again today against Clyda in the other game from our group. That result currently leaves Buttevant, Ballyhooly and Clyda all on 2 points.

A 1 point defeat after a bad second half. Still all to play for in the final round against Ilen Rovers. Hard luck lads.

Big weekend for our Footballers who are out in Round 2 of the Intermediate Football Championship.
We currently sit on top of the group after our comprehensive win over Glanworth in Round 1.

Have you heard about the fantastic developments planned for Buttevant GAA? We are delighted to support this exciting project and the positive impact it will have on the local community.

Recently, Lisa had the opportunity to visit the site, where PJ and Noel gave her a tour of the proposed development areas. From the new astro turf facility and gym extension to enhanced social spaces, the plans look absolutely incredible and will be a wonderful addition to Buttevant and the surrounding area.

At Mallow Credit Union, we believe that community matters, and community support matters. We are proud to play our part in helping local organisations grow, develop, and create opportunities for future generations.
