⛳ Bishopstown Pitch & Putt Club – OPEN 2026 ⛳

We’re delighted to invite everyone to our biggest weekend of the year at Bishopstown! The Open for 2026, running from Tuesday 1st September to Saturday 5th September.

🏌️ Tuesday & Wednesday: Open Singles — 10am to dusk
👥 Thursday & Friday: 2 Ball Scramble — 10am to dusk
🏆 Saturday: Bishopstown Scratch Cup — 36 Hole, commencing at 7:45am

💶 Entry Fees

* Open Singles: €3 per card — 2 cards to count
* 2 Ball Scramble: €5 per card
* Scratch Cup: €10

🏆 Scratch Cup prizes for Gents and Ladies, including Overall, Senior, Intermediate, Junior and Junior B categories.

📌 No Final 18 — all prizes are decided from the opening rounds and are subject to entry.

Coming off the back of National Matchplay, our team have been working hard and will continue to work hard getting the course in the best possible condition for all our visitors!

From Friday 21st August at 16:00pm to 13:00pm on Saturday 6th of September we will be closed to green fees as we prepare for our Open Week ⛳️🎉

Congratulations to our very own Linda Griffin, who placed 4th in the Intermediate National Strokeplay at the weekend in Cunnigar! 🏌️‍♀️🎉

What an incredible achievement, Linda! The club is immensely proud of you. 🏆👏

Yesterday morning, our Bishopstown Ladies got together to compete for the Margaret Powers Captain’s Prize and what a fantastic morning it was! 🏌️‍♀️

It was brilliant to see such a great turnout, with so many of our members taking part.

This year, we had the pleasure of welcoming some of our newest members to the competition alongside our long standing members, all competing for the coveted prize.

Congratulations to Lesley Gilmore, who took the victory by just one shot over Mary Reilly, with both ladies posting fantastic scores on a very tough course. 👏

New member Mary Scriven was also very much in the mix, while Shirley posted a fantastic gross score.

Lesley is certainly becoming a familiar face in the winners’ circle, having also taken home the Ladies Club Matchplay Prize less than two weeks ago! 🏆

Well done to all the ladies who took part and a huge congratulations to Lesley on another fantastic win! 🎉

⛳️🎉 Weekend 2 of the National Strokeplay Finals!

This weekend, the ladies take to Cunnigar Pitch & Putt for the next round of the National Strokeplay Finals.

Linda Griffin is our sole representative this year, competing in the Intermediate Grade. 🏌️‍♀️

Wishing Linda the very best of luck as she tees off at 10:42am!

The National Strokeplay weekend has drawn to a close, and unfortunately, it wasn’t to be for our Bishopstown representatives.

All three narrowly missed out on the final 18 cut in their respective grades, but they have done the club incredibly proud with their performances throughout the year. 👏

Congratulations to all the winners over the weekend, and especially to fellow Cork man John Cahill of Fermoy Pitch & Putt, who claimed his second National Strokeplay title! 🎉

A big thank you to Tullamore and Kilbeggan Pitch & Putt for their hospitality and for hosting a fantastic National Strokeplay weekend. 👏

All roads lead to Westmeath and Offaly this weekend for one of the biggest competitions on the Pitch & Putt calendar! ⛳️

This weekend sees three Bishopstown Pitch & Putt Club members take to the course in the National Strokeplay Finals.

Kicking things off for Bishopstown is Stephen Mahon, who tees off at 9:00am on Saturday in Tullamore. Having only taken up the game less than four months ago, Stephen will be making his debut in an Intermediate National Strokeplay Final, a fantastic achievement!

At 10:24am, less than 15 minutes down the road in Kilbeggan, Paul Boreham will also make his Junior National Strokeplay Finals debut. Best of luck to Paul as he takes on the challenge! ⛳️

Back in Tullamore, Ciaran White gets the afternoon underway with a 1:42pm tee time. The Laois native will be competing in his second National Strokeplay Final and his first at Intermediate level.

Ian McCarthy will also be travelling with the lads as he is a first reserve for the intermediate grades if a slot presents itself!🎉

Our players, along with fellow Cork Pitch & Putt competitors, have spoken highly of the fantastic condition and presentation of both Kilbeggan Pitch & Putt Club and Tullamore Pitch & Putt Club, setting the stage for what promises to be a superb weekend of competition.

The past weekend saw Stephen Mahon take home the Junior St Anne’s Scratch Cup! 🏆⛳️

A brilliant achievement and another well-deserved success for Stephen being so new to the game! Both Stephen and Eoghan O’Leary were successful in the gents grade scramble also!
