RHYTHM & REFINEMENT
These are two of my words for 2026…I always like to intentionally choose three words for each year and of you have been part of most of my offerings I will also have invited you to allow three words to come to you for the practice or ritual. It’s really a potent and powerful way in a simple form to set an intention, you don’t need to over think it just allow the words come to you anyway I’ve allowed the meandering of my mind…so circling back to rhythm and refinement what these words have brought to my life is that I can only honor my own unique rhythm which in reality is slow and I genuinely feel this is one of the most potent gifts you can gift yourself to create moments to slow down and become more fully present not chasing the next thing in a chaotic/frantic way.
Over the last few years I’ve been having deep conversations around this juicy topic that slow is sexy…which brings me to the word refinement when we slow down from my personal experience we get the opportunity to truly know ourselves, our true essence, really re-sensitize our beings to people, places, food, environments and witness where the refinement process clears away all the BS…the holy truth comes to the surface which can be heartbreaking on one side and heartbreaking WIDE OPEN on the other side!

MERCURIAL AMUSEMENT
in the pull of mercurial amusement
that lives in the spaces between
a sudden spark
the art of life
in the in-between
stepping out of the world’s endless rush
to exist in a
sacred pause
a space of deep,
unseen healing,
learning to look a heavy reality in the eyes
and
still
choose
to
dance.
The world keeps spinning outside, but right here, time moves to a completely different rhythm.
No logic, no blueprint
just a wild,
fleeting sort
that burns bright
amidst
the metamorphosis...

Our Intimate Connection to Water
water is a strong ally for any woman. It has the ability to connect you intimately with your feminine nature and can be a great source of power. In its purest essence, water is potent and sacred. It has the capacity to purify, replenish, rejuvenate and even heal you. When you understand the secrets of water, you can begin to comprehend one of the mysteries of being a woman.

I SURGE ON THE UPRISING WAVE OF LOVE
I surge on the uprising wave of love.
No gravity can stop me from rising.
The moon pulls the tide of life towards her, and my soul in oneness with all of life answers her call.
A wave of love consumes me, and upwards I fly,
flying through water,
to greet her shining body.
Led by my heart,
my wits are addled and my mind becomes a blurry mess and so I feel instead,
feel the truth of her love
the divine reflection she shines back at me
from her radiant heart.
Greater forces of planetary movements affect us all. We experience day and night through the interplay of the earth, sun and moon. This is a profound and obvious effect. The movements of the cosmos affect us deeply - body and soul. Some movements are perhaps less obvious in form, but are just as great if not more so in effect upon our spiritual growth and life experiences.
This is a karmic period, a time during which the movements of greater planetary bodies will have an impact upon the earth and humanity. This is the way of things, greater cycles affecting smaller ones. The smaller ones are not less important, but they do have to bow to the power of the great, in oneness with the magnificent unfolding divinity that is life itself…

winter has been softening me
teaching me how to rest
