Tonight, the skies over Cork are putting on an incredible show! 🌘✨

The Moon will pass across the Sun, creating a spectacular partial solar eclipse. It begins at approximately 6:15pm, reaches maximum coverage at 7:13pm and finishes shortly after 8pm.

Today also brings a six-planet alignment, followed tonight by the peak of the Perseid meteor shower—one of the brightest meteor showers of the year. 🌠🪐

We’ll be watching the eclipse from the water at Funkytown, with certified eclipse glasses provided.
