Our Juniors kick off their league campaign this morning as we take on Glasheen in Bishopstown 💪

DYLAN DOHERTY HAT-TRICK SENDS SAINTS INTO THE FINAL FOUR OF IRELAND! 🤍🖤

Our Seniors produced an unbelievable performance this afternoon, beating defending champions College Corinthians 5-1 away from home to book our place in the semi-final of the FAI Intermediate Cup.

A defensive error gave Corinthians an early opportunity, but we responded brilliantly. Dylan Doherty chased down a loose ball, won it off the keeper and tapped into an empty net to level the game.

We then took the lead as excellent work from James O’Leary and Bradley Walsh forced a save from the keeper, with Doherty following up to grab his second.

Then came the moment of the afternoon. Corinthians attempted to take a quick free kick but misplaced it, allowing Bradley Walsh to take one touch before unleashing an outrageous strike from inside his own half that sailed over the keeper. Incredible scenes!

We started the second half with the same intensity and soon added a fourth. James O’Leary beat his man and reached the byline before squaring for Doherty to complete his hat-trick.

Corinthians piled on the pressure and were awarded a penalty, but Oisín Barry stood tall to produce a superb save and keep us three goals clear.

The icing on the cake came when Neil Cunningham broke through and rolled the ball across to Sean Lennon, who made no mistake to make it 5-1 and seal our place in the final four, knocking out the holders in the process.

A home semi-final awaits in two weeks. What a performance from every single player and member of management. 👏
