Our junior side took all 3 points at lehenaghmore this morning with a 5-0 win and a great performance from the first minute to the last against a tough Pearse Celtic side.

That’s 6 points from the first two games and the lads will be hoping to keep there winning run going when the are back in action Tuesday night.

Goals on the day, Jamie O Connor with a brace, Gavin Forde, Alan Devereaux and Jordan Morrissey 💪

3 MORE POINTS ON THE BOARD! 💪🏼⚪⚫

Temple were made to work very hard for this one by a youthful Carrigtwohill team.

A great solo run and finish from Darren put us 1–0 up just after 15 minutes.

Dean reacted quickest to a loose ball in the box and, after taking control, was bundled over for a penalty. Shane stepped up and converted from the spot with aplomb to make it 2–0.

We led 2–0 at the break.

Carrigtwohill, to their credit, kept coming and got a deserved goal when a cross into the box was excellently converted by Edwards.

With 30 minutes to play, Dean put us 3–1 ahead after excellent work once again from Darren. Daz turned his man inside out before crossing into the box. Brandon got a header away, but it was blocked by a defender. Thankfully, the ball fell to Dean, who thundered a volley into the bottom corner.

Deep into injury time, Edwards got his second and Carrigtwohill's second to make for a few nervy minutes for our boys.

The final whistle brought another 3 points and leaves us with 6 points from our opening two league games.

Our junior side got their league campaign off to a winning start last night with a 4-1 win at home to Ballinhassig.
A hat trick from star striker Brendan O Donnell and a smart finish from Jammy Daniel made sure all 3 points stayed at temple park.
A great team performance from 1-18 and the lads will be hoping to keep up there winning ways as they travel to Pearse Celtic on Sunday morning
