The Irish F40s have claimed Ireland’s first-ever FIBA Masters Gold medal. It’s an incredible achievement that showcases the talent, determination, and spirit of Irish Masters basketball.
We are incredibly proud of our three Neptune members who represented the green jersey with pride:

Adding a FIBA Masters gold to their Masters Irish National Cup gold is a phenomenal achievement.
A special mention also goes out to Coach Mark Scannell. As a former Neptune player and coach, Mark brings a wealth of experience and basketball knowledge.

Dylan has flown out to Bratislava, Slovakia, to represent Ireland in the FIBA U20 Men’s Youth EuroBasket European Championship!  
The boys in green tip off their tournament today against North Macedonia, followed by crucial group games against Sweden, Azerbaijan, and the hosts, Slovakia. 
All in Neptune are incredibly proud to see Dylan’s hard work and talent recognized on the European stage.

Neptune Basketball Club is delighted to launch a fantastic raffle giving one lucky winner the chance to win 2 Cusack Lower Stand tickets to the All-Ireland Hurling Semi-Final between Cork and Galway at Croke Park next Saturday.

Huge congratulations to Maisie, Noah and Shay competing in Wales at The U14 Academy Four Nations 2026 this weekend.
There were big performances from all 3 players in their games.
Both boys and girls Irish Academy’s won against Wales and Scotland in their respective matches and both teams unfortunately lost against very strong English sides.
Well done to all we are very proud of you at Neptune 🏀🔱🔵

Neptune Basketball club in partnership with Real Betis are running a basketball camp in August at Neptune Stadium Cork.

The camp is €150 for the week for non Neptune members.
Its running from August 10th to 14th inclusive. With 10 - 13 Yr olds at 9 - 12pm , while older age group of 14-18 Yr olds will be 1 - 4pm.
Places are limited to 50 per age group and if you aren’t booked in before the end of June there is no guarantee of getting the Real Betis basketball kit which is included in the price as the order needs to be placed for the gear by the end of June.

Also receiving an Emerging Talent Bursary Award today at Neptune Stadium was Dylan O’ Rourke.
Dylan received his award for being selected to play with the Irish U20 Team travelling to Slovakia in July.
