Star Makers, Episode 2.
Meet Kieran. He's been teaching music with us for two years, and what's kept him here is simple, he loves the job, loves working with the kids and teenagers, and there's a real family feel among the staff.
He got into music because a classmate got away with playing guitar in primary school, and he thought, why not me. His music classes aren't one size fits all, everything's built around the individual student, because that's what keeps a child coming back.
We built a fun app to help you figure out what kind of star your child is. Comment STARS below and we'll send it over.

🌟 We are SO proud of Michael O’Regan! 🌟
A massive congratulations to Michael, who has been offered a place on the Bachelor of Music at Cork School of Music! 🎶👏
Michael has worked incredibly hard throughout his years with Super Stars, and we couldn’t think of anyone more deserving of this opportunity.
From Beetlejuice to Uncle Fester and everything in between… is there anything he can’t do?! And one thing we ALL know — Michael can SING! 🎤🌟
Michael, we are so excited to see where this next chapter takes you. Enjoy every minute of it — we’ll be cheering you on all the way.
Best of luck from everyone at Super Stars. We are incredibly proud of you! 💛🖤
I've been teaching exams for years, and I don't think I've ever been this excited about a syllabus.
Super Stars has been chosen as a partner school for the Lir, the drama academy at Trinity College Dublin, and we're one of the founding schools helping shape their brand new syllabus for young people.
Here's why it matters to me. The old style of exam was word perfect or nothing, and that puts a child under pressure to think about the words instead of what they're actually saying. With the Lir, there's real space for interpretation, for backstory, for a child to work out who they're talking to and why. It's about acting, not reciting.
We get to bring the warmth of our classes into an exam setting now, and that's down to this partnership.

We run three stage schools under one roof, and they all have different goals. We don't do tap, because we don't have a tap teacher, and we'll tell you that straight rather than pretend otherwise. If your child isn't a good fit for performing arts, we'll tell you that too.
We did our 10 year anniversary show in the Opera House, and I remember standing on that stage thinking, this is a big deal for us. But going somewhere a little smaller, like the Everyman, means our students get more time on stage, and that's what actually matters to us. The more time they get up there, the more their confidence grows.

Still a Super Star, Episode 1.
Ellie started with us at 11, dance, musical theatre, drama, company class, all of it. She's off to Liverpool this September to study performing arts.
She says the support was what made it different. The first time she performed, she knew straight away this wasn't going to be a hobby, and when she told us, we were straight on the phone to her mam. The confidence she built with us is something she still carries into everyday life now.
"My whole life would be different if I hadn't joined."

"You can be inclusive, or you can have a standard, but not both." We hear a version of that a lot, and it's just not true.
There's no favourites at Super Stars. You'll see kids who put the work in getting the recognition for it, and that's about as fair as it gets. Most of the parents who come to us aren't chasing the next professional performer, they want their child happy and confident, and we've always believed the rest follows on from that.
Come in for a bit of craic, something different to do during the week. There's a good chance you'll get the bug, and if you do, we're with you all the way.
