Cork Youth Ballet Company is Cork’s only independently run dance company, offering young dancers the opportunity to be part of something unique while continuing the rich ballet heritage of our city. We are now starting our 11th year bringing expert tuition, knowledge, experience and invaluable opportunities to the next generation of dancers.
2027 is set to be an extraordinary year. We celebrate 80 years of ballet company performances in Cork, a remarkable milestone in our city’s ballet history.✨
To mark this special occasion Cork City Ballet will present a spectacular Gala Celebration on 17th April 2027. ❤️
Cork Youth Ballet Company dancers will have the incredible opportunity to perform alongside the wonderful dancers of CCB. This will be a chance to perform, learn from world class teachers and choreographers, make memories and be part of Cork’s continuing ballet story. ❤️

Our dancers perform in Mallow this evening in a special tribute performance honouring Joan Denise Moriarty. Thank you Elaine Desmond and Mallow Arts Festival for inviting Patricia Crosbie and myself to speak at this wonderful event. Tonight we celebrate Miss Moriarty on her birthday, the remarkable woman who shaped so many dance careers and gave us all the rich heritage of ballet that we have today.

The course will be grid in Longyard Studios, from 17th to 20th August. Each day will run from 10am to 5pm.
