Where to even start with these gorgeous girls! What this means to the girls no one will understand! 2 of the girls came out of retirement to compete for 1 last time U18 for their sheer love of Ceili dancing πŸ₯Ή This is the reason why we teach, to share our love for dancing and to pass it on to the next generations πŸ₯° The girls are fabulous role models and we are so excited to continue this journey in Belfast in a few weeks!! More hard work to come πŸ˜‚ Bring on Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann!! πŸ’šπŸ’›

Well done on some beautiful dancing by our U12 and U15 teams at Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan in Lismore yesterday! For many it was their first Munster Fleadh and it was such an achievement to get there. The high standard of Ceili dancing in Munster was wonderful to see!
Big congrats to our mixed U12 4-hand who placed 3rd in a gorgeous competition. This was only the beginning for these fab dancers!
We are so proud of the journey our Ceili teams have all been on this year. It has been amazing to see the growth in your dancing! Enjoy the break now and we’ll be ready to get back to the new season in September!

IMNDA ambassador Christy Lehane was delighted to accept a cheque for €500 plus an extra €10 (€510) donated by the families of children who were participating in the annual Class Feis which took place in Dromtarriff Community centre on Sunday he 24th May 2026.
Class Organiser Julie Nolan told me that that fundraising at this years class feis were going to the IMNDA in memory of her late father Pat who passed away from MND saying that Pat played a huge part in the class feis community. Because Pat contributed so much to these events and he was always involved behind the scenes, this years feis was dedicated to his memory.
Fundraising for MND allowed the Nolan family to remember Pat and all he brought to the local community, but also to to support an important cause that helps people and families affected by this terrible disease. Julie said that their class feis is all about a community coming together making it a perfect place to remember her dad Pat while raising much needed funding for the IMNDA in his name.
Nice to have met Pat's wife Phil and daughters Honor and Julie and also Louise who was of great assistance to me leading up to the event.
Many thanks to all who supported the IMNDA on the day.
