Midleton Ladies Football Club

Hard luck to our U14 team who lost their County quarter final to Douglas on Sunday. The match was cracker Douglas prevailing by two points on scoreline of 7:4 to 5:8. The girls battled to the end with the Douglas keeper making some fantastic saves in the dying minutes as Midleton chased a winner. Many thanks to Aibhlinn and Isabelle from the U12s and Seonaid and Joy from the U13s who gave fantastic contributions. Thanks to all the support from the sidelines and best of luck to Douglas in the next round.

Well done to all the Minor girls on the win in Park South on Thursday. Great team effort. It was a close game with the lead being exchanged a few times. But the effort payed off and we played some great football. Final score 4-10 to 1-12. Also big thanks to the U16s who came - they are key to help to bolster our team and they are learning a lot which will stand to them going forward.
