📢 WE’RE RECRUITING | GYM/FITNESS TRAINING MANAGER

Mayfield Sports Complex is looking for an experienced and motivated Gym/Fitness Training Manager to lead and develop our gym and fitness department.

This is a key role within the Complex, with responsibility for:

✅ Leading the Gym & Fitness Department
✅ Working with gym staff to develop and coordinate our fitness class programmes
✅ Delivering our Level 4 Personal Training Course
✅ Helping to develop and expand our wider fitness programme

Applicants must hold:

🏋️ Level 4 Fitness Qualification
🏊 Swim Teaching Qualification
⚙️ Plantroom Certification
🛟 Lifeguard Certification is desirable, but can be attained on the job

Pay will be commensurate with experience.

The successful applicant will also be required to complete the Garda Vetting process prior to employment.

🏅 MAYFIELD TEEN SPORTS AWARDS – NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN! 🏅

We want to recognise and celebrate the young people from Mayfield who have gone out and achieved something special in sport.

The Mayfield Teen Sports Awards are open to both individual athletes and teams who are in secondary school, or were in secondary school during the season in which their success was achieved.

To qualify, nominees must be a member of a Mayfield club and/or live in Mayfield, and must have achieved genuine success at county, national or international level. This award is for young people who have actually won a major event or title, rather than simply being selected for or placing as part of a team.

All nominations must come from the young person’s coach or instructor.

🥇 EVERYONE WHO QUALIFIES WILL RECEIVE A GOLD MAYFIELD TEEN SPORTS AWARDS MEDAL AND A FULL YEAR’S FREE MEMBERSHIP TO MAYFIELD SPORTS COMPLEX.

One teen will be chosen as the most outstanding achievement award 🏆

"A recent report by Swim Ireland found that each pool in Ireland equates to 80,000 people, whereas in Scotland each pool equates to just 14,000 people," writes John Dolan.
