Sad news this week as we mourn the loss of our first Club Captain, Peter Murphy. Peter is pictured above as part of the CRFC50 launch in 2022.

Our condolences to the Murphy family, who have proudly represented our club across three generations.

While our Adult season is done, we’ve still had one man in action for the last couple of weeks as Jack O’Connell has been playing for Munster in the Junior Interprovincial series.
Jack was among the tries in last weekend’s win over Leinster.
This weekend Jack is named amongst the replacements as Munster play Connacht in Castleisland RFC on Saturday, Kick off 2.00pm.

A busy May weekend saw Crosshaven RFC youth teams in action across 3 finals.

On Friday evening, our Crosshaven/Cork Con U18s won the South Munster Plate.
On Saturday we had a double header in the farm as Crosshaven/Cork Con U16s won their South Munster Cup and the U14s were runners up in their South Munster Cup.

Congratulations to all those involved and it’s always great to have teams playing in competitive finals at the tail end of the season.
