We have a great selection of covers. They’ll brighten up any golf bag and make all golfers smile.

There are covers for drivers, fairways, hybrids and putters. There are putter covers for blade and mallets putters and ones which suit centre shafted and heel shafted mallets.

The high-quality covers are typically made from a synthetic PU leather. The putter covers have a magnetic clasp.

Putter covers are €25.
Wood, fairway and hybrid covers are €25.
Alignment stick covers are €20.
Novelty animal wood covers are €30.
Sets of 3 Covers, Driver, Fairway and Hybrid are €60.

Covers can be collected from our Riverstown location. But can also be shipped out for €8 per order. There are multiples of each cover, but the last shipment sold quickly so purchase soon before they sell out again. Message if you want to pay to reserve a cover. Any questions, please ask.

New from the True Temper Icon line of grips is the Icon putter grip.

Available in three models, 1, 2 & 3. The 1 is a flat pistol grip, 2 is a midsize flat pistol and 3 is an oval shape grip.

The different sizes fit a wide range of hand sizes and stroke types.

The multi-zone texture pattern enhances traction in key areas allowing for a nice smooth grip pressure.

Maybe it’s time to test the Icon.

One of the unusual byproducts of the warm summer has been crows digging up golf balls on our Riverstown practice area.

The practice area is low lying and a flood plain, it gets a heavy dew also. The grass as a result is greener than most places and a big number of crows stop by every morning to search for worms or leatherjackets.

But there are also some plugged golf balls after the winter. As they peck the soil for worms they come across golf balls on occasion. Sometimes they leave the ball in the ground but recently they have been popping them out of the plug mark too.

The photos show a ball popped out today from a plug mark. Impressive work by a crow and the other photo shows the general disturbance they are making to the grass.

Some fine tuning was needed this evening for a golfer. Fine tuning is decluttering!
