Social & fun tag rugby played in Musgrave, CSN, Cork Con, Highfield RFC and Trabeg Sports Centre. Many players learn from simply joining in with a team.
An incredibly popular sport played by guys and girls at the biggest venues in Cork including Musgrave Park, CSN College and Highfield RFC. Tag rugby is an ideal activity for those looking to meet new people, learn a new sport and to get healthy. Although we do offer a Learn To Play Tag Rugby program for beginners at particular times during the year, it is not a requirement. The Venue Managers and referees are always on hand to offer advice and coach new players.

Summer nights are made for Tag Rugby!
It's been great seeing teams and players making the most of the long evenings.
Next week, it's all to play for on Monday night as the final round of the league will decide the standings heading into Finals Week while Thursday's Finals fixtures are shaping up to feature some mouth-watering matchups.
Please note: Wednesday's Finals have been pushed out by one week as we say our final farewell to Gerritt next wednesday night.
Good luck to all teams as the race for the finals reaches its climax! 🏉☀️

It was with deep sadness that we learned of the sudden passing of Gerritt.
Gerritt was a familiar and much-loved figure around tag. He always wore a welcoming smile and had words of encouragement for everyone he met. He was never hesitant to help out when teams were short of players—so much so that he must have played with most teams over the years!
In recent weeks, he had also joined the ranks of referees, adding to the many ways he contributed to our community.
Our deepest condolences go to his family, friends, teammates, and all who knew him.
A book of condolences will be available in Cork Con tomorrow night and Thursday for anyone who would like to pay their respects.
May his soul rest in peace
