🏆 Huge congratulations to Aoibhinn

We thought it would be difficult to top last week’s success, but Aoibhinn has done exactly that, winning both the Under-14 Girls’ Singles and the Under-16 Girls’ Singles in the North over the past couple of days.

An incredible achievement for a player who is still only under12.

A huge well done to all the players on an excellent weekend at the Sundays Well tournament.

A special mention goes to Roisin, who completed a fantastic treble by winning the Under 14 Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles titles.

Aoibhinn was the Under 12 Singles champion and also finished runner-up in the Under 14 Mixed Doubles. Congratulations as well to Leo and Ross on winning the Under 12 Boys event, and to Nevan , who defeated Jens in the final of the Under 16 Plate competition.

A big well done to Luiz , who is still an Under 16 player but finished runner-up in the Under 18 singles 500 event, a superb achievement. Congratulations also to Tom and Andrew and Isaac from Douglas, who train in Bishopstown and are members of our squads, on winning their respective events. Well done to David and Liam winning the doubles 200 under14 also.

Overall, it was a hugely successful weekend and a brilliant tournament for all our players. We are very proud of everyone who competed, represented themselves so well, and showed the results of their hard work. Well done to Sundays Well on a fantastic tournament as always.

Great week in Douglas open had by all our junior players , well done to Jens winning the 16s boys and Eala and Molly winning the 16s doubles girls . In the under12s Ben was runners up in singles as was Eabha in the girls singles. Maria was runner up in the girls under14s. Well done to Cate who won Castlebar 500 and was runners up in Galway. Best of luck to all the players in Sundays Well this week and those who are also playing the Tennis Europe event in Templeogue

Well done to Ben and Aoibhe who both reached the finals of the Junior 200 Open this weekend in the U12s.

A two fantastic weekends of tennis for the Bishopstown Junior 500.
Well done to U14 winner Chloe and BLTC’s Roisin who reached the final.
U14 boys winner was BLTC’s squad player Tom and runner-up Adam.
Mathew won the boys U18 competition while BLTC squad player Charlie reached the final.
Also a big well done too to BLTC squad player Romy who won the girls U18 competition.
Well done to Adrian and Gary for all the hard work in making sure the tournament was a success.

Another great day for our Performance Squad players. We had two winners, Romy and Tom, and two runners-up, Roisin and Charlie.

Overall, it has been a very successful two weeks for our Performance Squad, with our players performing exceptionally well and featuring prominently across the competitions. Congratulations to all four players on their fantastic achievements and the hard work that continues to drive their development.
