Tomorrow morning at 11am history will be made in Bweeng as our first ever youths team will take to the field.
Bweeng Celtic was formed in 2010, a few years later a school boys section was added and now through that academy we have our first youths team. There is a lot going on in the club to try and secure a brighter future as players develop through the club.
Long terms plans are already being drawn up for pitch development and also new dressing rooms. We have also added a new academy this year and those young stars will hopefully be the ones who will benefit most from the changes that are on the way.
The club does need more help and with more help we could have more teams.
Tomorrow however belongs to our youths team, their coaches and anyone who have supported them since they first stepped into the club. Get up and support them and be part of a historic day.

We are a small soccer club based in Bweeng, North Cork, welcoming boys from Bweeng and the surrounding areas.
Bweeng Celtic Youths can set up more teams but only if volunteers step forward. All involved with the club are already active with teams. We are a newly formed Soccer Club catering for boys and girls aged 6-14. New players welcome from Bweeng and surrounding areas! A lot of hard work has gone over the last several weeks and months to make sure our club achieved the FAI club mark. Many members put in extra hours getting courses done from First aid to coaching courses to admin. This work is not seen but happens behind the scenes.
Our secretary Tina Buckley proudly accepted the Club mark on behalf of the Bweeng Celtic Youths from Leslie Doyle Chair of Munster Football Association.
Another welcome addition to our team. A huge thanks to Shane and all the team at The Island Garage for their kind sponsorship. The cost of running a schoolboys soccer club is not cheap and support like this is so welcome. Thanks you from all our club players and members.

It takes many factors to make a great team. Our under 14 team are delighted once again this year to Welcome Eire Homes as our kit sponsor. Their support has been fantastic in the last 2 years and it is hugely appreciated by the players, coaches and all at the club.
Our team will be proud to wear the jersey again this year. Two teams.. together as one.
Everyone at Bweeng Celtic and in the community of Bweeng would like to pass on their condolences to the Hill family on the sad loss of James.
James Hill helped out at our club where his son James also played. We think of his sons, family and friends at this sad time.

Our teams will be making their way back for pre season training over the next week and its been a busy few weeks with some new signings over the summer months. We are delighted to welcome and work with these players across all our teams and happy to welcome others who maybe interested also.
