Avondhu Pony Club

A huge well done to our members and families who travelled to Tatts for the Eventing Championship. A super experience for them and I’m sure they are chomping at the bit to get back there again next year and have inspired more members to try and qualify next year. Well done girls we are super proud of ye.

The hardest task of the weekend completed… the hanging of the banner 😂 The Avondhu contingent all settled in at Tatts.

It’s going to be an exciting weekend for all the pony club eventers at the Eventing Championships at Tatts. We would like to wish the best of luck to all those competing especially to our members Jenna & Leo, Michaela & Finn and Keelin and Pivot. We know ye will do us proud and all the club is behind ye. The hard work is done so enjoy the weekend.

A big well done to our terrific trio who headed to Kilguilkey today. First time out for Lily Rose and Ziva in the 90’s and they played a blinder. Well done also to Emma & Sparky and to Conor and Patch who came 5th in the 70’s. Great going gang 👏

A busy week of Pony Club activities for our members. An Eclipse Rally, Demo riding for the Foundation Coach test and rounded off with a great day at the West Waterford Pony Club Area 3 Showjumping Qualifier. Massive thanks to the West Waterfords for putting on a great day of showjumping with a lovely relaxed atmosphere at the fabulous Sceilig Equestrian. A huge well done to Michaela Cooney who qualified for the 90cm Classic with former member Laurens horse Nevins Star. We are thrilled for you Michaela.
