Welcome aboard

We're absolutely delighted to announce that Gaeltacht lorrais Riding Club is now officially affiliated with the Association of Irish Riding Clubs (AIRC), making us the first AIRC riding club in Erris!
This is such an exciting milestone for our new club and for riders in the area. What started with a shared love of horses and a wish to bring local riders together has now become something very real.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped us get here, our members, families, supporters and our local community.
We couldn't have done it without you.
A very special thank you has to go to , who has put an enormous amount of work in behind the scenes to get us to this point. Making phone calls, sending messages, chasing information and keeping everything moving. So much of the legwork involved in getting the club off the ground has been hers, and we genuinely wouldn't be here without her.
Here's to new opportunities, new friendships, plenty of horsey adventures, and a very exciting future for riding in Erris.

Details of the North West Riding Clubs autumn league are out.

Note: a horse+rider combination must take part in 3 of the 5 legs to be eligible for league prizes.
The final leg carries double points....sure you'd be an eejit to miss it.

Rosettes from 1st to 6th awarded at each leg.
League prizes for 1st to 3rd, and rosettes 1st to 6th, will be awarded at the annual dinner dance in Kee's Hotel on Saturday 28th November (a night not to be missed).

Heartfelt thanks to all our wonderful North West Riding Clubs neighbors who supported, competed, helped and cheered at our memorial show yesterday. We had a great day and hope you all did too. Results are listed below. Congratulations to all the winners. You definitely earned those rosettes.
A special mention has to go to Francis McNicholl, who was awarded the Orla O'Reilly Shield. Francis Mc Nicholl was picked out by the dressage judge on the day, Lucinda Webb, as showing an exceptional level of harmony with his horse, and presenting a beautiful picture of what equestrianism should look like.

Dressage times, teams and SJ entries for tomorrow's Memorial show.
Please remember that the jumping is all done in 'Nations Cup' style.
All 70 and 80 riders will jump their first round, then all 90 and above riders will jump their first round, before putting the course back down for the 70 and 80 riders to jump their second round, and so on.
