**RESULTS** | The final weekend for three of our senior men's league season brought plenty of action, highlighted by a dominant victory for our M3s at Castle Avenue.
In their final match of the campaign on Saturday, our M1s fell to a 124-run defeat away to Rush in Championship Round 5. Ethan led the bowling with 3/60 while Fionn and Yash claimed two wickets apiece as Rush reached 251/8, before Clontarf were dismissed for 127 in reply. Huge congratulations to Chris, who made his M1s debut on the day, rewarding his strong performances and positive attitude on the pitch throughout the season. 👏
Also signing off their season on Saturday, our M3s finished on a high with a convincing eight-wicket victory over Athlone in Division 6. Abishek starred with the ball taking 5/19, supported by a brilliant performance behind the stumps from Vinay with two catches, two stumpings, and a run-out to dismiss Athlone for 76. An unbroken 63-run partnership between Sam and Rana then comfortably wrapped up the chase as Clontarf reached 79/2.
Our M5s were in Division 17C action on Saturday, falling to a 46-run defeat against Adamstown. Onel (2/6) and Bibek (2/8) bowled tight spells to restrict Adamstown to 109, but Clontarf were bowled out for 63 in reply.
On Sunday, our M2s had their final Second XI Premier League fixture of the season away to The Hills abandoned without a ball bowled.
Our M4s wrapped up the weekend's matches on Sunday, falling to a 69-run defeat against Wicklow County in Division 11. Nilanga delivered a great all-round performance by taking 4/19 with the ball before top-scoring with 41 off 47 balls, with Navneet adding 27 as Clontarf reached 131 in pursuit of 200.
