AFC Belgrave - 1
Knockmitten utd - 5

Great performance from our U15 lads today away to Belgrave. We started well and created some chances early on and got a free kick just outside the box. Ciaran stepped up and fired it into the top corner. We were 2 up 10 mins later when Nosa scored inside the box after some nice play on the left. Another free kick on the edge of the box put us 3-0 ahead after Clayton dinked it over the wall and over the keeper to bring us to Half time.
2nd half we picked up where we left off and went 4 up through Zack. Belgrave pulled 1 back but went pressed on and scored our 5th. Craig played a lovely ball through the lines to Noah C who rounded a defender and fired home from 20 yards. Ciaran nearly scored a second free kick from 25 yards, hitting the post and narrowly missing.
Belgrave got a peno right at the end and Cillian saved it Brilliantly to keep it at 5-1. A great game from everyone and great to see the lads improving every week and learning on the pitch.
Best of luck to Belgrave for the remainder of the season.

Granada FC 0

​A warm September morning set the scene for our second league match of the season against Granada FC. The weather may have been warm, but our girls were on fire 🔥 for our first home game.

​As the first whistle rang out, we dominated the match and scored our first goal in the very first minute.

​The girls battled hard and kept our opponents firmly pinned in their own half. Some lovely passing and good positional play saw us go 6 goals up at half-time.

​The second half was a brilliant display of communication, winning tackle after tackle, and showing up for each other with great support in the right places.

​The girls played as a tight unit today—we are very proud!

Lucan United 1

The weather played ball nicely Sunday for the first league match against Lucan United! ⚽☀️

​Having faced each other several times last season, this match felt completely different. It was a fantastic game filled with lovely football and sheer grit.

​With a full squad available for the opening of our very first competitive season, every single player put in a shift. Lucan took an early lead, but the girls dug deep to hold them to just one goal—a real testament to how far this team has come along. We kept Lucan pinned in their own half for a lot of the game, but luck wasn’t on our side in front of goal, especially with two efforts disallowed for offside.

🚫 Coaches are not permitted to play unregistered players.
❌ No registration = No game
🛡️ No registration = No insurance cover

Please take a moment to check that your child’s registration is fully completed and up to date.
We want every player to be ready, protected and able to take to the pitch when the league begins! 💙⚽️

🔥 WHAT. A. GAME! 🔥

Our 12.6 girls put on an absolute cracker today! 💙⚽️

A 6-5 win in a game that had absolutely everything! We went into half-time 3-1 up, but our opponents came flying back and even took the lead. We fought our way back to 5-5, before scoring the winner with just minutes to go! 😮‍💨🔥

And it could’ve been 8️⃣… but we got caught offside a couple of times as the new offside rule is still being introduced to the girls! 😅⚽️

The girls showed unbelievable fight, determination and never-give-up attitude. What a team, what a performance and what a match! 💙👏
