A total of 7️⃣2️⃣ fixtures have been scheduled for the Spring 2026 running all the way to Ballingarry and Inchydoney on May 24th.

Well done to the connections of the winners of our two four-year-old races for quickly capitalising on their successes.
Fiyero and Shinealight were both sold at the Tattersalls Ireland May Point-to-Point and Horses in Training Sale, just four days after winning at Inchydoney.
Both consigned by Monbeg Stables, Co Wexford, they sold for a total of €80,000.
The catalogue said Fiyero shaped like a nice gelding as he opened his account in good style at Inchydoney. "He has previously finished sixth on his debut earlier this month, and that initial experience was evident as he was dominant when breaking his maiden tag. He is a graduate of the Tattersalls Ireland Derby Sale, his dam being a four-time winner, and is a half-sister to five individual winners. He hails from a well-respected nursery and he ticks a lot of the right boxes as a future prospect".
He sold for €50,000 to Bobby O'Ryan and Sandy Thomson.
Shinealight, also trained by Sean Doyle, was described on the catalogue as a mare taking recent winning form to the sale, after opening her account at Inchydoney. "A graduate of the Tattersalls Ireland July Store Sale, her dam is a half-sister to seven-time winner Boothill. She was fifth on her debut earlier this month and built on that when taking a four-year-old mares maiden. She has the potential to develop into a nice staying type in the future".
Shinealight won our Sean O'Donoghue Agri Ltd & Derry O'Donovan Engineering 4yo Mares Maiden, for the Dr Colm Quirke Cup.
Fiyero won our Chris McCarthy Greenbuild Contractors & Tattersalls Ireland P2P & HIT May Sale 4yo Geldings Maiden, for the Jim L O'Sullivan Cup.
The runner-up to Fiyero, Boy of Montego Bay was also sent to the sale by Moate Stables (Mick Goff), bidding went to €24,000, but the gelding was unsold.
His catalogue note said, "His profile is moving in the right direction, and he should be winning races".

Coverage of the races in the Irish Examiner today

The 25th Anniversary Clonakilty Point-to-Point Races go ahead at Inchydoney, Sunday, May 25, at 1pm (Eircode P85 X466).
The races got the go-ahead from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Saturday evening, after an inspection report that the ground is officially rated good, good to yielding in places, following watering and rain.
Well done to clerk of the course Consie Keohane and his team who watered and spiked the course to get it in perfect condition for the horses, despite the long dry period.
That's the end of the rain for a while, with a dry, mostly sunny forecast for Sunday, and 14 to 15 degrees of heat.
If you are a hurling fan, you can watch Sunday's Senior Championship matches on TV at the course, while enjoying the races.

The Doyles and Bowes of Wexford will be welcomed to West Cork on Sunday.
Between them, they are responsible for the majority of the 90 horses entered for the Carbery Foxhounds Clonakilty Point to Point races (first race 1pm).
The domination of the Model County in point to points marches on, with Colin Bowe and his Milestone Stables clear of the field of handlers again this year, with 41 winners coming into this week.
Sam Curling put up a fight, reaching 34 winners, but has made no entries for this weekend’s three fixtures.
So Bowe will pick up a 13th handler title, whivch he has won over ten consecutive years, underlining the major shift in the balance of power in training ranks from Co Cork to Co Wexford.
When the handler title prize was introduced in 2008, Cork-based trainers Eugene O’Sullivan and Robert Tyner won it in four of the first seven years, but then along came Bowe.
According to this week's Racing Post, his influence has been key in fostering the Wexford point to point powerhouse. For example, Sean and Donnchadh Doyle were introduced to point-to-pointing by working for Bowe, while Mick Goff had horses in training at Bowe’s yard before setting up himself. This year, Sean is at third in the handler table with 25 wins, and Donnchadh is fifth with 24 wins. Goff is 15th witn nine winners.
More than a third of the 2,931 horses who received a hunter certificate this year did so via a Wexford hunt. Four of the county’s hunts (Island, Ballinagore, Killinick and Bree) issue the largest number of certificates nationwide.
Some 101 races four-year-old maiden races have been run in the 2025 spring season, with a staggering two-thirds won by Wexford-trained horses. More will be added on Sunday, entries for the two four-year-old races at Inchydoney are completely dominated by Wexford trainers.
Entries have been well divided between this weekend's meetings, with 87 for Ballingarry on Saturday and 91 on Sunday, and 90 at Inchydoney.
