Another successful academy block in the books ✅

A huge shout out to Katie who is the real reason BigManBasketball Academy has become what it is today. Running academy one week after giving birth is typical of Katie’s dedication. Our baby Úna sleeping in the background to the sound of basketballs while our son Ivar looks forward to academy and seeing the kiddos every week is GOALS❤️🏀

Thanks again to everyone who supported our academy, we will see you all after the bank holiday weekend 💪

A huge welcome to Ennis for one of Irelands most talented young stars Rap Buivydas ⭐️

Rap Buivydas comes to Clare with a wealth of experience at such a young age, having won back to back Young Superleague Player of the Year awards in 23/24 and 24/25 season.

Rap played his college basketball Assumption University in the United States and currently plays for Belfast Star in the Irish superleague.

Most recently, Rap represented Ireland in the FIBA EuroBasket 2029 Pre-Qualifiers for the senior men 🇮🇪

Welcome back to the Banner Sabhbh! 🏀

We’re thrilled to announce Clare native Sabhbh Edwards Murphy will be joining us for our annual summer camp next month! 🔥

Sabhbh recently captained Limerick Celtics to win the 2025-2026 Women’s National League in April, securing promotion to the superleague. Sabhbh also represented Ireland in the FIBA U23 3x3 last summer aswell.

Aside from an impressive basketball CV, the Kilrush native attended Akron University in 2022 and graduated from the University of Limerick this year📚

It’s great to have Sabhbh locked in for summer camp, to share her insights and tips from her career to date with our campers in her home county Clare!
