🇮🇪 National Champion! 🥇

Usually the one on the other side of the finish line with the timing and results, but this weekend Brian Conroy swapped his timing role for racing shoes!

Well done Brian on a super performance at the Athletics Ireland National 10 Mile Road Championships in the Phoenix Park, where he claimed 1st place in the M40 category.

Congratulations on a well-deserved national title! 👏🏻

🇮🇪 NATIONAL SILVER FOR DYLAN HEFFERNAN

Dylan becomes our club’s very first decathlete and what a way to make history.

The decathlon is the ultimate test of athleticism, demanding speed, strength, endurance and skill across 10 different events.

Congratulations Dylan! A national silver medal and another milestone for our club. We’re incredibly proud of you!

National Championship Silver for Adam Clancy! 🇮🇪

What a performance from Adam Clancy in the U14 Boys’ Pentathlon at the Athletics Ireland National Championships!

Adam produced a sensational final event, storming to victory in the 800m with a fantastic new personal best of 2:16, crossing the line 11 seconds clear of the field.

That incredible run saw him climb from 5th place to 2nd overall, finishing with a superb 2,123 points to claim the National Silver Medal.

Congratulations, Adam – a brilliant achievement and one to be incredibly proud of! 🥈

Running is about so much more than finish times and PBs.

We couldn’t be prouder of our incredible athletes who represented our club at the national championships. Every performance was something to celebrate!

Grace Gravey – 4th in the U17 Javelin, producing a fantastic PB on the day to cap off a brilliant season.
Iris McCartan – Ran a superb race, storming home over the final 80 metres and coming agonisingly close to that bronze medal.
Adam Clancy – Qualified for the U14 200m Final and finished 8th, setting a new PB on the biggest stage.
Makayla Owie – National Champion in the U16 Long Jump and added a brilliant bronze medal in the 100m.

Relay success at the National Championships! 🥈🥉

There is something special about relay racing – four athletes coming together and giving everything for the team. Our relay squads did exactly that this weekend, delivering two outstanding performances on the national stage.
