It’s Friday, which means it’s time to sound smart 🤓 at the 19th hole tonight.
You’re welcome.
🔹 The dimples on a golf ball aren’t decoration — they DOUBLE the distance it travels compared to a smooth ball. Aerodynamics, baby.
🔹 The longest hole in the world is in South Korea, at a casual 1,100+ yards. Bring snacks. And a car.
🔹 “Fore!” doesn’t stand for anything fancy — it’s shorthand for “look out ahead,” shouted by caddies since the 1800s so nobody got a surprise skull massage.
🔹 Golf is the only sport ever played on the MOON. Alan Shepard hit two balls on Apollo 14 in 1971 and definitely did NOT go looking for them.
🔹 The average golfer walks about 4 miles a course… and spends roughly none of that time actually improving their slice.
Basically: it’s a sport invented by people with too much patience.
Happy Friday, may your drives be straight and your excuses be creative. 🏌️♂️🍻
