Cavan 3 vs North Kildare 6

Cavan 3 secured a convincing 19-run victory over North Kildare 6. Batting first, Cavan 3 posted 160/10 from 37.4 overs, led by Ekambara Ardhimi (55) and Sameer Khadir (46), with Irfan Ullah adding 18.

North Kildare 6 were bowled out for 144 in 35.5 overs. Mahalingam top-scored with 38, while N Dorairaj and Vinay R both made 16. Sonet Jose was Cavan 3’s standout bowler with 4/24, supported by Vengadesh R (3/18).

Cavan 3 held their nerve to complete a 19-run win.

Cavan 2 beat Kilkenny 2 by 47 runs in a convincing performance. Cavan 2 posted 160 all out in 37.4 overs, led by Semeer Khadir’s 45 and Royson Paulson’s 29. Ali Chaudhari was the pick of the bowlers with 3/36.

Kilkenny 2 struggled in reply, being bowled out for 113 in 29.4 overs. Joy Lobo top-scored with 25, while Royson Paulson impressed with the ball, taking 4/22. Cavan 2’s disciplined bowling and solid batting secured a comfortable 47-run victory.

Cavan 1 secured a convincing five-wicket victory over Adamstown 4 in a high-scoring match.

Adamstown 4 posted 172 all out in 37 overs, with Waleed Abbassi top-scoring with 33, while Rahul Paul made 25 and Nikhil Sangar 23. Ajesh Oommen and Sithosh Ittiyavirah claimed three and two wickets respectively.

Cavan 1 chased down the target, reaching 173/5 in just 25 overs. Jithin YS led the chase with an impressive 88 off 63 balls, supported by Ajash Oommen’s 36 off 55. The result saw Cavan 1 complete a comfortable five-wicket win.

Match Report: Cavan 2 vs Adamstown 7

Cavan 2 secured a commanding 106-run victory over Adamstown 7 after a strong all-round performance.

Batting first, Cavan 2 posted 174/10 in 38.3 overs. Rajesh Mani top-scored with a patient 37 off 82 balls, while Rahul Mohan (24 off 34) and Pranoob Kumar S (23 off 35) provided useful support. V Kasiviswanathan was Adamstown 7’s standout bowler with 3/34, while Varatharaj Murthy and Venkat Kantipudy took two wickets each.

In reply, Adamstown 7 struggled to build partnerships and were bowled out for just 68 in 29 overs. Sarel Van Deventer (15), Arunava Mukherjee (12) and V Kasiviswanathan (10) were the top scorers. Cavan 2’s bowlers maintained pressure throughout, with Bineesh Philip (2/13), Irfan Ullah (2/18) and Libin Baby (2/12) sharing six wickets.

Cavan 2’s disciplined bowling and useful contributions throughout the batting order earned them a convincing 106-run win.

Sandyford 4 held their nerve to secure a 12-run victory over Cavan 2 in a closely contested encounter. Batting first, Sandyford were bowled out for 145 in 30 overs, with Bharat Sivaprakasam anchoring the innings with a fine 60 off 58 balls, while Nehal Waghmode added 30. For Cavan 2, Libin Baby (4/35) and Rahul Mohan (3/14) impressed with the ball.

In reply, Cavan 2 were dismissed for 133 in 29 overs despite Rajesh Mani’s 33. Sandyford’s bowlers delivered a disciplined performance, led by Vinodh Kumar (3/26) and Vishnu Singh (2/22), to seal a hard-fought win.

Laois 2 produced a dominant all-round performance to defeat Cavan 1 by 98 runs. Batting first, Laois posted an imposing 201/3 in 20 overs, powered by explosive knocks from Usama Raees (76 off 28) and Jahangir Noor (75 off 47), while Umar Tahir added 22.

In reply, Cavan 1 were bowled out for 103 in 15 overs despite Ranjith Raj’s 30. Laois’ bowlers shared the wickets, with Eranda Masachchi (3/24), Zeeshan Khan (3/30), and Ben Hur (2/20) leading the attack as Laois secured a comprehensive victory.

Cavan 3 claimed a convincing 38-run victory over Tullamore 2 after posting 161 all out in 38.4 overs. Irfan Ullah anchored the innings with a fluent 58 (46), while Ekambara Ardhimi added 36 (50) to help Cavan reach a competitive total. Arun Pandi starred with the ball for Tullamore, taking 3/16.

In reply, Tullamore 2 were bowled out for 123 in 30.2 overs despite contributions from Tijo Thomas (23) and Abin Joseph (21). Ekambara Ardhimi completed an outstanding all-round performance, leading the attack with 5/29, while Arun Bhasker (2/21) and Minesh Joseph (2/24) provided excellent support as Cavan sealed a well-deserved win.

Cavan 2 produced a dominant all-round performance to defeat Wexford Wanderers 3 by 170 runs.

Batting first, Cavan 2 posted an imposing 272/9 in 40 overs, with Jijo Abraham leading the way with 55 (53). He was well supported by Arun Surendran (36 off 26) and Gishnu Gopinathan (28 off 29). For Wexford Wanderers 3, Hareesh Padinjara claimed 3/61, while Tom David took 2/19.

In reply, Wexford Wanderers 3 were bowled out for 102 in 35.2 overs. Stefan Carty top-scored with 20, but the chase never gained momentum. Jijo Abraham completed an outstanding all-round display with 3/5, while Royson Paulson (2/14) and Ajil Varghese (1/7) provided excellent support.

Result: Cavan 2 won by 170 runs.

Cavan 1 produced a dominant batting display to defeat Laois 2 by 7 wickets in a one-sided encounter.

Laois 2 were bowled out for 157 in 38.4 overs, with Athar Khan (44) and Jalal Hussain (42) leading the resistance. Cavan’s bowling attack shared the wickets evenly, with Sithosh Ittiyavirah (2/22), Royson Paulson (2/22) and Jijo Abraham (2/26) all impressing.

In reply, Cavan 1 made light work of the chase, reaching 158/3 in just 16.3 overs. Hassan Mehmood starred with a blistering 75 off 45 balls, well supported by Jithin YS (40 off 22), as Cavan cruised to victory with plenty of overs to spare.
