💗 **REST DAYS ARE PART OF THE PLAN TOO** 💗

When we’re trying to get fitter, stronger or lose weight, it can be tempting to think we need to exercise hard every single day.

But your body needs recovery too. 💪

And a **rest day doesn’t necessarily mean sitting on the sofa all day** — unless that’s what your body genuinely needs!

It means resting from your **added or structured exercise**.

🏋️ If you normally lift weights, take a break from the weights and go for a gentle walk.

🏃‍♀️ If you’ve been doing lots of high-impact exercise, have an easy swim instead.

🚶‍♀️ Walk the dog, play with the kids, do some gardening or simply keep moving through your normal day.

This is called **active recovery**.

Your muscles need time to repair and rebuild after training. Recovery can also help reduce fatigue and means you’re more likely to come back to your next workout feeling stronger rather than completely exhausted.

And remember — your normal everyday movement still counts. ❤️

We don’t have to punish our bodies to change them.

**Train them. Fuel them. Rest them. Look after them.**

Consistency isn’t about going 100% every day — it’s about learning when to push and when to recover. 💗

💚 CONSISTENCY, NOT PERFECTION 💚

I’ve been reminding myself of something this week…

Weight loss isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being consistent.

I’ve had a few days with no alcohol, I’ve been drinking more water, making higher-protein meals and trying to move my body more — even if that’s jumping on the trampoline with the kids, walking, doing squats while I’m doing the housework or simply being more active throughout the day.

Have I eaten perfectly? No.

I’ve had an ice cream.
I’ve eaten a few extra mouthfuls when something tasted too good 😂
And I’ve had a couple of pints.

But instead of thinking “I’ve ruined it now,” I’ve just carried on.

And that’s the difference I’m trying to make.

The scales are beginning to move, but more importantly, I’m starting to feel more in control of my choices.

A few alcohol-free days also reminded me that I don’t need a drink. I enjoy one sometimes, and there’s a difference. And after having a couple, I’ve realised that maybe one is enough for me because I definitely notice the difference the following morning! 😂

I’m not starving myself.
I’m not banning foods I enjoy.
I’m not exercising for hours every day.

I’m simply trying to make more good choices than not-so-good ones and repeat them often enough that they become my normal.

Because one ice cream won’t make you overweight, just like one salad won’t make you healthy.

It’s what we do consistently that matters. 💚

And if you’ve had a day that didn’t go to plan, don’t wait until Monday.

Your next meal is your next opportunity to make a choice that supports you.

One day at a time.
One choice at a time.
Consistency over perfection. 💪💚

💜 Ladies… can we talk for a minute?

Have you ever looked back over the last few years and thought…

“No wonder I felt different.”

Maybe you’ve been feeling:
✨ More tired than usual.
✨ Struggling with brain fog.
✨ Feeling overwhelmed by things that never used to bother you.
✨ Finding it harder to lose weight, especially around your tummy.
✨ Losing confidence.
✨ Feeling emotional or just… not quite yourself.

For many women, these can be signs that your hormones are changing. Perimenopause can begin years before menopause itself, and it often creeps up so gradually that we don’t realise what’s happening until we look back.

You’re not imagining it, and you certainly don’t have to just “put up with it.”

The good news is that small changes to your lifestyle, nutrition, strength training, sleep and stress management can make a real difference.

I’d love to know…

❤️ What has been the biggest change you’ve noticed as you’ve got older?

Let’s support each other. You never know who needs to hear that they’re not alone. 💜

✨ This is the coach I want to become. ✨

I’m building something that goes far beyond weight loss.

My mission is to help women—especially those in their 40s and 50s, navigating perimenopause, menopause or simply the demands of everyday life—become stronger, healthier and more confident.

Not through crash diets.

Not through hours in the gym.

But through realistic coaching that fits around work, family, children, caring responsibilities and real life.

We’ll focus on:
💪 Building strength.
🦴 Supporting healthy bones and muscles.
🥗 Nourishing your body.
❤️ Improving long-term health.
✨ Growing confidence from the inside out.

Because I don’t just want you to lose weight.

I want you to walk into every room with your head held high, your shoulders back, and the confidence that comes from knowing just how strong you really are.

This is only the beginning, and I can’t wait to share the journey with you.

If this sounds like the kind of support you’ve been looking for, I’d love to have you here. ❤️

Your energy is your wealth ❤️

We spend so much time focusing on scales, workouts, calories and trying to do more, that sometimes we forget the basics…

Your body talks to you.

If you have no energy, constantly feel drained, emotional, exhausted or just want to sleep — listen. Rest isn't weakness. Sleep isn't being lazy. Sometimes your body is literally asking for recovery.

And remember… food isn't the enemy. Food is fuel. We eat so our bodies have energy to move, think, work, laugh, play with our children, walk the dogs and actually enjoy life.

Make healthy choices not because you hate your body, but because you love it enough to look after it ❤️

Get enough sleep.
Drink your water.
Eat enough.
Move your body.
Rest when you need to.

And if you need a break? Take one.

Just don't unpack and live there.

Rest… recover… then come back fighting 💪✨

Right, once I find the door keys, me and the dogs are off for our walk 😂🐶

✨ Proof that progress is more than a number ✨

My scales have decided they don’t want to cooperate today 🤦‍♀️😂 … but luckily I can still see the trend.

Down 2.9kg in the last month 🙌

No starving.
No crazy restrictions.
No “quick fixes”.

Just consistency, real life, getting back on track after holidays, moving my body, and making better choices day by day.

This is exactly what I teach my clients too — because life doesn’t stop. We still have children, work, stress, health challenges, busy days and days where motivation disappears.

Progress isn’t about being perfect… it’s about continuing.

If you’re waiting for the “right time” to start, this is your reminder: start where you are ❤️

I’m opening a few spaces for anyone wanting support with:
✔ Weight loss
✔ Toning up
✔ Feeling healthier and stronger
✔ Creating habits that actually last
