A special group of players who helped pave the way for the future of girls’ football at Carrick Town F.C. 👏🌟

📸 2016 - 10 years on and the Academy was thriving at Aura Leisure.

Fast forward to today, and Carrick Town F.C. now has over 600 members! 💙⚽

Premier League Stars Connect with Carrick Town F.C. ⚽🔴

There was great excitement in Carrick when Manchester United stars visited our Carrick Town Underage training at Aura Leisure Centre to help mark our club’s 30th Anniversary!

The players took time to sign autographs and pose for photographs with the young players, creating memories that many would never forget.

They also attended the 10th Anniversary celebrations of the local Manchester United Supporters Club, making it a very special occasion for the town and the football community.

Crystal Palace and Republic of Ireland star and now Sky Sports pundit was delighted to pose in his new Carrick Town jacket presented to him by club player, manager and lifelong Palace fan Paul Cronogue on a visit to Selhurst Park to watch a game.

⚽️ A great day out for our young players...a memory from 2009!

Forty of our Carrick Town F.C. U12 Academy members travelled to The Showgrounds as guests of Sligo Rovers for their FAI Cup match against Derry City.

The highlight included a parade onto the pitch at half time to take penalty kicks on Sligo Reserve keeper Ciaran Kelly, who went on to be the hero a year later, saving 3 penalties, when Sligo won the FAI Cup! 🏆

The lads also met Benny the Bull and a number of the Rovers players who were in the stand. A fantastic day and a memory that still brings a smile today. ⚽️💙

⚽ Carrick Town Play Their Part in the Millennium Celebrations ⚽

The club hosted a special friendly match at The Showgrounds, bringing together players who proudly represented Carrick Town F.C. throughout the 70s, 80s, and 90s. It was a fantastic opportunity for former teammates to reunite, relive old memories and celebrate the club's history.

The Millennium Celebrations were a worldwide series of events encouraging communities to commemorate the end of one era and the beginning of another. Carrick Town was proud to be part of those celebrations.
