Fenagh Abbey Graveyard Access
Access to Fenagh Abbey graveyard will be closed from Monday, September 14th to Sunday September 20th inclusive. This is to accommodate essential repair work on the foothpath.

Vacancy
Fenagh Development are currently recruiting staff to help in the running of the visitor centre and community centre. Hours are flexible, some weekend work may be required. For more information email [email protected] , call 071 9645590 or call in to the visitor centre.

Willow Weaving Class
Evening basket weaving class starting Tuesday 8th September in The community centre for five weeks. Time 7:30 to 9:30pm. Fee €100, all material is supplied. To book call 071 9645590 , email [email protected], book online at Fenagh.com or call into the visitor centre.

Gentle Exercise for Seniors
Great for improving balance and coordination. Strengthen bones, boost energy. Great fun. Every Thursday in FenaghVisitor Centre, 2-3pm. €5.00 per session, why not stay and have a cuppa and a chat afterwards.
Graveyard Survey
Fenagh Development are doing a survey of the graveyards in the parish. We are looking for volunteers to help upgrade the survey done in 2011. This involves noting the inscriptions on the gravestones in The Abbey Graveyard, St Catherine’s Church of Ireland graveyard and the new graveyard and also taking photos of the gravestone with your phone. You can go out whenever or for as long as you want and it is a great way to get out and about when the evenings get longer. Parent & Toddler Group (max age 4)
Every Friday from 10am to 12pm at Visitor Centre with full use of the indoor play area. There will be toast, fresh fruit and juice for the children and tea/coffee and biscuits for the adults during the session. The session is a great opportunity for adults to mingle, swap stories and relax while the children play safely. Whether you are a mum, dad, grandparent or carer, you are most welcome

The Parish of Oughteragh & Drumreilly Lower (Ballinamore) invites parishioners to take part in a One Day Retreat to Lough Derg on Saturday 5th September. Bookings should be made by latest Monday 17th August. For information and bookings, contact the Parish Office at 071 9644039 or 087 9610911.Bus will depart from the square at 7:30am. On arrival on the Island, pilgrims are welcomed with tea/coffee and scones. The Retreat begins at 10.20am in St Patrick’s Basilica and follows a gentle programme of prayer and reflection, concluding with Mass in the Basilica. A light lunch (soup, sandwiches, tea & coffee) is provided. Warm, waterproof clothing is recommended.
