100 YEARS OF WOODBROOK

Last Sunday, we begin a very special week celebrating 100 years of Woodbrook Golf Club.

A century of golf.
A century of tradition.
A century of friendships, memories and generations of members who have made Woodbrook what it is today.

Because Woodbrook has always been about more than the game.

It’s the welcome when you walk through the doors.
It’s the friendships that last a lifetime.
It’s the generations who share the same fairways.
It’s the stories passed from one member to the next.
It’s a community that brings people together and keeps bringing them back.

Our history belongs to everyone who has been part of Woodbrook, and our future belongs to all of us.

100 years behind us.
The next chapter starts now.

Here’s to the members, the memories, the traditions and the community that make Woodbrook so special.

Here’s to 100 years of Woodbrook.

Day 2 of our Centenary Festival of Golf ⛳️💯

Another fantastic day at Woodbrook, with our Ladies Fourball Betterball taking centre stage. Congratulations to all of our winners, pictured here with their prizes! 🏆👏

The golf was followed by something very special, a lovely chat with two legends of Irish women’s golf, Ita Butler and Maureen Madill.

Ita enjoyed an extraordinary career representing Ireland for almost two decades, played Curtis Cup golf for Great Britain & Ireland and later captained the GB&I Curtis Cup side to a famous victory on home soil at Killarney in 1996. Maureen is a former British Ladies Amateur Champion, Curtis Cup player, Ladies European Tour professional and, of course, one of the most recognisable voices in golf through her many years in golf broadcasting.

It was a real privilege to have two women who have contributed so much to the game sharing their stories, memories and plenty of laughs with our members, another wonderful evening celebrating 100 years of golf, friendship and history at Woodbrook.

And we’re only on Day 2… plenty more to come! 💯⛳️

What a start to our Centenary Festival of Golf Week! 🏆⛳️

Here are our winners from Day 1 of what promises to be a very special week at Woodbrook.

Stay tuned throughout the week as we share more photos of our winners collecting their incredible prizes, along with highlights from our Centenary Opening Ceremony and Lunch, a truly special occasion and a day that will live long in the memory. 💯

A huge thank you, as always, to our main sponsor, John Sheerin of Kingstown Motors, for his fantastic support of Woodbrook and our Centenary celebrations.

100 Years. One Club. One unforgettable week.
