Dear friends and family, It is coming up to the 4th anniversary of Thomas's passing. We will remember him on the day with our Run for Thomas 2026. This will take place on Sunday 6th September, at 10am again in Shanganagh park, Shankill . No need for sign up, just bring yourselves.. And of course back to Old Connaught Avenue afterwards for some refreshments. All welcome, friends old and new. We are once again fundraising for Lauralynn. Well done to Róisín and her team, in what was a very tough heat. Whilst disappointed not to progress to the final they have gained invaluable experience on the World stage. The future is bright for all these athletes 💪

Also, well done to Bobby and James who were in London at the weekend for a final 800m on the track this season. Bobby recorded another sub 1.50 time and James lowered his PB by over 1 second💪⏱️

What can we say, Bobby More had an amazing day at the Senior National Outdoor 800m and came away with 🥉 What an unbelievable achievement, huge congratulations to Bobby and his coach Suzanne.

Bray Runners athletes Niamh and Anna were on medal presentation duty for the day and were kept busy and Pippa was helping with the athletes baskets.

Arabella and Isla were lucky to get to run with Ciara Mageean, amazing opportunity to run with the fabulous Legend and we wish her the very best in her health battle, what a super weekend of athletics in Morton Stadium. 🧡🖤

National Combined Events Championships took place yesterday in Morton Stadium and Niamh Graham had a brilliant day, finishing in 4th place overall after a long day in the sun. New PB's in the High Jump and Shot Put, super end to her outdoor season, congratulations Niamh 🧡🖤

We are beyond delighted to report that Roísín Murray has been selected to represent Ireland at the World Athletics U20 Championships, taking place in Oregon in early August. Roísín is a massive inspiration to all our juvenile athletes and the Bray Runners family are so proud of your achievements. Congratulations Roísín and her coach Áine, all your hard work and continuous dedication has all been worth it. Wishing Roísín and all her team mates and Athletics Ireland the very best in Oregon 💚
