🟩🟨🏆🌟 GLÓR NA NÓG 2026 – GET INVOLVED! 🌟🏆

After the fantastic achievement of Shannon Gaels being crowned the overall Glór na nÓg Grand Prize winners in 2025, the competition is back for 2026! 🟩🟨

Last year, the voices of our young members helped bring an incredible €10,000 back to Shannon Gaels. This year, we’d love to see as many of our young players as possible getting involved again! 🙌

The GAA and Amazon are inviting GAA members aged 10–18 to tell them:

⭐ Who is your favourite GAA player and why do they inspire you?

🌟 Imagine yourself as a future GAA star – what would you say to your favourite player about the impact they’ve had on you?

There is a massive €100,000 in funding available for clubs across the country, including:

🏆 €10,000 Grand Prize
🥇 €5,000 for each Provincial winner
🏅 €2,000 for County winners

We know from last year just how worthwhile this initiative can be, so we’d really encourage all our Shannon Gaels boys and girls aged 10–18 to get involved, have their say and represent the club. 🟩🟨

A great morning of football in Croghan as our Under 6s welcomed Elphin/Ballinameen for a blitz.

Brilliant to see all the boys and girls out enjoying themselves, getting plenty of touches on the ball and showing great enthusiasm! 👏👏

A big thank you to Tracey Duignan, Damien Horan, Fergal Lavin and Niamh O’Dowd for all their work with the team and for organising this morning.

Thanks also to Elphin/Ballinameen for travelling over and for some great games.
