🐴☀️ And that’s a wrap on our Summer Pony Camps for 2026! ☀️🐴

Nine weeks, nine camps and so many brilliant memories! 💚

Our final camp of the summer has come to an end, and what a fantastic group to finish with! Plenty of riding, pony care, fun, laughter and friendships to round off a very busy summer. 🐎💕

A huge thank you to every child who joined us over the nine weeks. We hope you’ve had as much fun as we have and are heading back to school with lots of great summer memories.

And an extra special thank you to our fantastic staff and wonderful ponies who have kept everything going throughout the summer — they have most definitely earned a break! 💚🐴

After a fantastic and very busy summer, our ponies and staff have definitely earned a few days to put their feet — and hooves — up! 🐴😴

Birr Equestrian Centre will be closed for annual holidays from Tuesday 1st September to Saturday 5th September inclusive.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us over the summer, and especially to all our Pony Campers who made the past nine weeks so much fun. 💕

And as the summer holidays come to an end, best of luck to all our young riders heading back to school — we hope you’ve had a brilliant summer and made lots of memories with us. 📚🐎💚

It’s hard to believe we’re already sharing photos from our second last week of camp — the summer has absolutely flown by! 💚

Another brilliant week of riding, pony care, fun, friendships and plenty of laughs along the way. 🐎

Whatever appears on that piece of paper, remember that your results do not define you or your future.

There is more than one road to where you want to go, and sometimes the path you hadn’t planned turns out to be the best one. 💚

Be proud of how far you’ve come, celebrate what you’ve achieved and remember — the Leaving Cert is just one step in the journey, not the only path to success. 🌟

There was plenty of riding, learning, laughing and, of course, lots of time spent looking after and fussing over our four-legged stars. 🐎💕 It’s lovely to see the friendships and confidence that develop as the week goes on.

🐴🎀 Pony Camp Show Prep! 🎀🐴

It’s nearly show time, and our campers have been very busy getting their ponies ready! ✨

There’s been washing, grooming, plaiting, decorating… and some very impressive tail braiding! 😍🐎

And of course, no Pony Camp Show would be complete without a unicorn! 🦄✨😂

Getting the ponies ready is all part of the fun, and judging by these photos, the ponies may be enjoying all the extra attention just as much as the campers! 💕

Now all that’s left to do is bring on the show! 🏆🐴🌟

🐴💚 Week 6 of 9 – another brilliant Summer Pony Camp! ☀️

The summer is flying by, and we've just wrapped up another action-packed week! From time in the saddle and learning new skills to pony care, games and plenty of fun around the yard, our campers certainly kept busy. 🐎😊

One of the best parts of camp is seeing friendships form, confidence grow and everyone cheering each other on throughout the week. A huge well done to all our Week 6 campers – you were a fantastic bunch! 👏💚
