We are honoured that Billy Gleadell has been given a life member with Port Macquarie pétanque and that Cavan Pétanque club is to be a sister club twinned with a friendship agreement.

Belturbet Mêlée 🥳

What a fantastic day! We had 13 triples teams and 1 doubles team, with 41 players in total, plus a few spectators.

Players from the Longford, Loughnavalley, Dromod, Sligo and Cavan Pétanque Clubs descended on Belturbet for a great day’s play.

A huge well done to everyone who attended, and congratulations to our winning team:

They played brilliantly as a team. Mary displayed some of the best pointing I have seen so far in my playing career. Anita was brilliant at getting into the boules and winning the point, while Captain Shuhel is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to shooting and pointing — he has it all!
