Our American Golf sponsored open Tuesday qualifiers at Bantry Bay Golf Club are now compete and the Invitational Final takes place on Tuesday 1st September. Best of luck to all the qualifiers playing for the trip to Spain 🇪🇸 !!

Our last major of the year at Bantry Bay Golf Club, but by no means the least!! Best of luck to President Maurice Healy today for his President’s Prize. Maurice has been a fantastic supporter of the club over the past 35 years and continues to contribute significantly towards our Junior golfers and our Ladies Getting into Golf Programmes. The prize table is stacked and we are looking forward to a great day and night!!

Well done to former Alps Tour player Tommy O'Driscoll who won the American Golf sponsored open singles at Bantry Bay Golf Club yesterday with a round of 65 for 42 points.

Whilst not a course record, because the competition was off the white tees rather than the championship tees, we believe this is the lowest score anyone has shot around the course since the full 18 holes opened in 1997. Well done Tommy!!

Next Tuesday is the final open singles competition so book early via BRS to be in with a chance of qualifying for our final on 1st September!!

Getting into golf via Golf Ireland’s Women's Get into Golf programme has been a hugely positive way for thousands of women to learn how to play the sport in a supported environment across Ireland. The programme includes lessons with PGA Professional Kieran Lynch and on course activities that allow participants to learn new skills, meet people of a simliar ability and get to know members of the club.

We were delighted to have our 2026 Get into Golf cohort graduate with flying colours last week and look forward to the intake becoming fully fledged members of Bantry Bay Golf Club.
