Best of luck to all the Rowing teams involved this weekend in Bantry in the All Ireland Rowing Coastal Championships. We are open at 6am tomorrow Sunday for the rowers or anyone who wants to get a early swim or workout.

Also a best of luck to the Bantry Premier Intermediate Football team who play Iveleary in Championship today at 4pm in Ballingeary.

Best of luck to the Cork Football Team who play Mayo today in the All Ireland Quarter Final in Croke Park and a special mention goes to local lads Ruairi Deane and Dara Sheedy playing today. Dara has been into us recently doing recovery sessions and we all hope that the team can keep up the winning run in what could be a busy few weeks ahead for Cork fans. We’re incredibly proud to celebrate Claire O’Regan, who visits us weekly at Club Maritime and continues to inspire everyone she meets. Fresh off winning two medals at the Special Olympics, Claire brings the same dedication, joy, and sportsmanship to our community that powered her success on the big stage.

Claire’s commitment, resilience, and positive spirit light up the club each week. Whether she’s sharing training tips, cheering others on, or simply brightening the room with her smile, she reminds us what hard work and heart can achieve.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our long-time member, Patrick Santry.

Patrick was a devoted part of the Maritime community and never failed to brighten the room with his smile and a story to share.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.

He will be greatly missed by us all.
