A genetic test to determine if a female calf that was twinned with a male calf exhibits the genetic abnormality of a freemartin. This test is used to identify whether the female animal is infertile due to the presence of male cells, which affects reproduction in breeding. This test allows breeders to avoid freemartins in their breeding programs.
