Bandon Underage GAA would like to thank SuperValu Bandon for their continued support of our Healthy Eating initiative on the opening day of our Cúl Camp.

Fresh fruit was provided to help fuel the kids on a busy day of activities.
Thanks to Donnie and the staff for their continued support.

Thanks to Irene Murphy for organising on behalf of the Healthy Club team, Amy Allen for coordinating the camp and to the parents who gave up their time to prepare the fruit. Every plate was empty by the end of lunch, and the kiwi and watermelon were very popular!

It was great to see players from neighbouring clubs involved with the Cork Senior Camogie team and winning the All Ireland on Sunday. They are fantastic role models for young girls and boys including the huge number of supporters who travelled to Croke Park with Bandon Camogie Club to cheer on Cork.

There was also a lovely bit of local involvement for our own club, with former Bandon GAA player and coach, James Nyhan, part of the coaching team with the Cork Senior Camogie team.
Congratulations, James, from all of us in Bandon GAA 👏

A hard-fought and thoroughly deserved win, reflecting the incredible hard work, effort and dedication of the players, coaches and everyone involved with Cork camogie throughout the year.

🏐 Two football fixtures this week for our adult teams with both our Intermediate and Junior footballers resuming their championship campaigns.

On Thursday night, 13th August, Bandon play Muintir Bhaire in the Bandon Co-Op Carbery Junior B Football Championship in Aughaville at 7.30pm.

Then we have Round 2 of the McCarthy Insurance Group Intermediate A Football Championship, with Bandon taking on Kildorrery in Ballyanley at 3pm on Sunday 16th August.
