🏉 U20s back in action! 🔵🔴

Our U20s returned to the pitch with their first pre-season friendly against UCD.

The visitors came away with the win, but there were plenty of positives for the group to take from the game as preparations continue for the season ahead.

Great to have the lads back playing and another valuable run-out in the bank. 💪

Things are well and truly on the up with our Mini Girls so far this season. Our Under 8s and our 10s are enjoying their work on tackling getting ready for the first Blitz of the season on the 27th, while our U12s are enjoying the club at Ballycorus after a busy session on Sunday morning.

👏 Our very own David Jermyn is taking on an incredible challenge!

From tomorrow, Dave will join Irish rugby legend Rory Best and Team Arachas for 9 marathons in 9 days, covering over 235 miles across Ireland in aid of Cancer Fund for Children.

As Old Wesley’s Director of Rugby and a long-time supporter of the club through Arachas, we’re proud to get behind Dave for such a brilliant cause.

🏉 35 Years On – A Special Night in Donnybrook 🔵🔴

This October, we’re bringing together members of the Old Wesley side that produced one of the great nights in the club’s history — the 37–36 victory over the Barbarians in Donnybrook in 1991, sealed with the final kick of the game.

The reunion dinner takes place on Friday 2nd October, the night before our first home AIL Division 1A fixture against Cork Constitution — fittingly, the club we shared our centenary season with 35 years ago.

Leinster’s newest U14 girls squad is up and running, with Old Wesley and Seapoint joining forces as Old Point for the new season.

A brilliant opportunity for girls to get involved, make new friends and enjoy their rugby in a welcoming team environment.

U20s Thursday Night 🔵🔴

After a tough few days in Salou alongside the Senior squad, our U20s are back into their pre-season work this Thursday.

Training will be followed by pizza and pints in the clubhouse — a chance to get another session in and then enjoy some time together off the pitch.

New and returning players are always welcome.
