Unfortunately, it wasn't Lorcan's day today, but we're incredibly proud of the performance he put in. Both boxers produced a fantastic contest. A huge congratulations to his opponent Bobby, who boxed brilliantly and put on a superb display.
We've had a wonderful few days away, catching up with so many boxing clubs, coaches, boxers and friends. Weekends like these remind us what our sport is really about respect, sportsmanship, friendships and creating great memories together. A special thanks to Shane Fury and Bernard Dunne for taking pictures with the boys, they were delighted.
Thank you to everyone who made it such an enjoyable weekend. We go home proud, we'll learn, we'll keep working hard, and we'll come back stronger. Onwards and upwards! 💙🥊

Today, members of St. Jude's Boxing Academy had the privilege of attending the Men's Mental Health Boxing Exhibition Event organised by Galway City Boxing Club and the Galway Traveller Movement.
A huge congratulations to everyone involved in putting together such a fantastic event, with a special mention to Edward for all of his hard work and dedication. It was a brilliantly organised day, and everyone from our club thoroughly enjoyed being part of it.
The event highlighted something far bigger than boxing the importance of men's mental health. It served as a powerful reminder that no one should ever feel they have to struggle alone. Speaking up takes courage, and together we can help break the stigma by encouraging open conversations, supporting one another, and reminding everyone that it's always okay to ask for help.
Well done once again to Galway City Boxing Club, the Galway Traveller Movement, Edward, and everyone who made today such a meaningful and successful event. Thank you for raising awareness around such an important cause. 💙🥊
