Most people know they trained
But can’t remember
• what did I do yesterday?
• what did I do last week?
• how many reps did I do?
• why am I even doing this?
And that’s not a dig - it’s just reality.
Because progress isn’t always about adding weight to the bar.
Yes, load matters.
Yes, reps matter.
But sometimes…
• moving better matters more
• leaving a session with energy matters more
• sleeping better that night matters more
• knowing why you’re training matters more
If you “own your move”
Do it well.
Do it with intent.
Do it with awareness.
Before asking how much?
Ask what am I actually measuring?
More on this later tonight 👀

Why we prescribe resistance training.
We’ve been coaching for 15 years.
We’ve seen it all.
• Fads
• Fasts
• HIIT crazes
• Vibration plates
• Endless cardio
• “Do this to lose weight” trends
And one thing never changes.
When people want real change
• how they look
• how their body feels
• how long results actually last
👉 resistance training sits at the centre.
You can burn calories a hundred ways.
You can sweat.
You can diet harder.
But if your body isn’t changing shape,
you’re just getting smaller… not different.
That’s body composition.
(Just a fancy way of saying changing how you look.)
Most people don’t struggle with effort.
They struggle with results that last.
Today’s reel 👇
Why resistance training matters if fat loss is your goal.
Save this if fat loss is your goal.

What holds you back every time?
Be honest.
Do you start strong and fade out?
Do you try to change everything at once and get overwhelmed?
Do you overthink where to start?
Do you wait for the right time that never comes?
Do you stop when it gets uncomfortable?
We’ll talk about this later.

Make the Gym Work for You
Ever wondered how the busiest people still make it to the gym?
Here’s the truth: it’s not about more time – it’s about clarity and choice.
Ask yourself:
Is this worth it for me?
Why do I want to do this?
Why do I need to do this?
The clearer your why, the easier it is to show up.
Fit it into your life, don’t fight your life.
• Look at your day and decide where a gym session can slot in.
• Start with getting the gym to work around your schedule.
• Eventually, it’s about making your life work around it – because showing up is for you, not anyone else.
Busy isn’t an excuse.
The busiest people I’ve trained – business owners, parents, high-level professionals – always find a way.
50 minutes out of a 24-hour day isn’t impossible, it’s a choice.
⸻
Start small, stay consistent, and let your why pull you through.
Make the gym work for you, not the other way around.
If this has helped you figure out your why, contact us at [email protected]

Make the Gym Work for You
I’ve seen thousands of clients come through my door
The busiest people, business leaders, parents, mums, dads, they all find a way to move
At first, it’s about fitting the gym into your life, not the other way around
Ease in. Build a foundation. Get that routine of moving and feeling good
Over time, you’ll figure out what works for you
The gym becomes your time, the one thing you do just for yourself
Start small. Be consistent. Let your life bend around your movement

What do you want from your training?
It’s really about finding your why. Why are you training?
You’re not just moving for the sake of moving.
You’re training to do something in your life. Lift your kids, play your sport, perform better, or just feel good in your own body.
Once you know your why, everything else falls into place.
I see so many people, even with a coach, thinking they “should” move onto the next exercise.
The truth is, you need exercises that are right for you and that gives you something meaningful.
Is this happening to you in your sessions?
