The Weight of the Win

​You can hold the trophy, wear the sash, and have the medals hanging on your wall, but none of it matters if the voice inside your head refuses to celebrate.

​For so many dancers, the pursuit of perfection becomes a trap.

You train until your feet bleed, execute every step flawlessly, and stand at the top of the podium, yet, looking in the mirror, all you see are the tiny mistakes nobody else noticed.

You feel like an imposter, waiting for everyone to realize you aren't actually "good enough."

​Being a champion without ever feeling like a champion is a exhausting, heavy way to live.

To dancers struggling with this: your worth is not defined by a perfect score or a first-place medal.
It is a worrying symptom when the art you love starts to steal your peace.
​Be kind to yourself. You have earned your place. It's time to start believing it.

So Today is the last of our Kids.
So we want to take a moment to celebrate each and every one of these incredible dancers who proudly represented Webster Irish Dance Academy last week in Liège, Belgium 🇧🇪 at the World Irish Dance Championships and International Grade Feis.
We couldn’t be prouder watching you all step onto that stage — especially knowing you’ve only been dancing with us for just one year! 💚 Your hard work, dedication, and passion truly shone through.
A special congratulations to our Duo Sisters & Superstars,
Heidi Flood Kerrigan u9 Champion &
Zoe Flood Kerrigan u11 Champion who competed at World Irish Dance & International Championships who placed first in their championships with a perfect Score of 300. 🏆🏆🏆

Riley went on to win both her solos Reel and Slip Jig and then placed 1st in u8 Premiership Championship!
