What an incredible achievement for these three AB girls
After weeks of hard work, dedication, and learning a completely new and fast-paced sport, all three have earned recognition through the Irish Touch Rugby international pathway.
🏆 Lucy Ashbourne RFC AB Rugby has been selected for the Ireland Girls U18 squad.
🏆 Aoife Ashbourne RFC AB Rugby has been selected for the Ireland Mixed U18 squad and both will compete at the European Championships in the UK this August
🏆 Chloe Balbriggan RFC AB Rugby has been selected for the Development Squad and is next in line for international selection.
The commitment, determination, and effort they have shown over the past number of weeks have been outstanding, and they should be immensely proud of what they have achieved.
Congratulations to all three girls. Wear the green jersey with pride, enjoy every moment of the experience, and represent your club, community, and country with distinction.
