🏑Junior Camogie Championship💚🤍

Our girls came up against a strong Éire Óg side this evening in their second championship match. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the result we had hoped for, but the team showed great determination and fight right until the final whistle.

There were plenty of positives to take from the performance, and we are always proud of our women’s team. Hard luck, girls, and well done to all involved💪💚🤍

A special mention to mother and daughter Mary and Kate Geraghty who lined out together tonight!👏

Our u14 camogie team travelled to Kiltegan this evening, and after a brilliant display of skill, determination and teamwork have secured their place in the Division A championship final 🏆

🏑U15 hurling championship💚🤍

ARP u15’s played their final championship group game at home this evening against Michael Dwyers. There has been very little to separate these two teams in previous games this year and tonight was no exception.

After a slow start ARP were on top in the middle part of the first half and took a good lead, but two late goals brought Michael Dwyers right back into the game.

Michael Dwyers started the second half well to narrow the gap further but then the Rocks lads took some great scores which often came from super defending and great team work to bring the ball up the pitch.

On an evening where every one of the panel contributed handsomely the lads ran out winners in the end, well done to our fantastic under 15 team💚🤍. Thanks a million to Michael Dwyers for travelling and to John Keenan for refereeing.

Arklow Rock Parnells turn the screw against Glenealy to book Intermediate semi-final spot Arklow Rock Parnells produced a commanding second-half performance to overcome Glenealy and book their place in the semi-finals of the Intermediate hurling championship. The two sides were evenly matched for much of the opening half, before ARP took control after the interval.

💚🤍U16 Camogie Championship🏑💪

Both of our U16 teams played their final round of their respective championships last night.

In the A Championship, we travelled to Aughrim and came away with a hard-earned victory. 💚🤍

In the C Championship, we played host to Glenealy, but unfortunately the Rocks came out on the wrong side of the result.

A huge well done to both Rocks teams, who battled hard from start to finish and represented the club with great pride. 💚🤍

🏑 U13 Championship – Round 6 🏑

The U13 Rocks welcomed Western Gaels for a competitive home game. With great work rate from both teams, there was very little between them at half time.

The Rocks came out strong in the second half to secure a well-earned win. 👏
