Ardee RFC wish to express our sincere sympathies to Wedge and all the Geraghty family on the passing of PJ. We are very grateful for all the work and time PJ gave over the years to our Club. His generosity will never be forgotten. May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.

The death has occurred of P.J. Geraghty, John St, Ardee, Co.Louth. P.J. passed away peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, on 18th June 2026.

PJ will be sadly missed by his loving wife Breda and his six sons Peter (Caroline), Kevin, Martin (Fiona), John, David and Michéal, his grandchildren, his sisters Mary (McKay), Rosie (McQuillan), Dolores (McQuillan), extended family, neighbours and friends.

May he Rest in Peace.

Reposing at The Finlay Funeral Home, Tierney St, Ardee, on Tuesday 23rd June, from 3pm–7pm.

Funeral Mass 10am Wednesday, 24th June, in the Church of the Nativity of our Lady, Ardee, followed by burial in Old St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ardee.

We are pausing Touch Rugby tonight due to the URC Final and NOT because of the rain!!!

Please take the time to support Leinster (or the Bulls if you choose) tonight and hopefully the trophy stays put!

We will resume next Friday 26th with a free BBQ for all players after matchplay.
