Well done to our amazing U13 girls! 💙🤍

A fantastic day at the Sandra Keane Memorial Tournament at John Mitchell’s GAA Club last Saturday.

The girls played some excellent football throughout the tournament, taking on Kerin O’Rahillys, Di**le and Annascaul, before narrowly losing out to Austin Stacks in the Shield Final.

From start to finish, the girls gave everything and played some brilliant football. You can all be incredibly proud of yourselves — the club certainly is! 👏💙

A huge thank you to all the coaches and parents for their continued support.

And finally, a massive thank you to the organisers of the Sandra Keane Memorial Tournament. It is brilliantly run every year and is a fantastic event for the girls.

Huge congratulations to our Fr Casey’s Junior Ladies who had a fantastic win over Adare last Sunday evening in Round 3 of the Junior Championship. 👏👏

The past weekend was a memorable and historic day for our club.

On Friday the club were delighted to host an evening for our sponsors and launch of our championship season.

We are truly grateful for their generous sponsorship and continued support to both our adult teams.

Our Saturday evening our Senior team competing in the Senior Championship traveled to Ballylanders the 2024 Senior Finalists.
In what was a true championship style battle both teams fought hard for the win. Credit is due to both teams for serving up an entertaining game with heroic defending and quality scoring.

When the final whistle was blown the teams were tied on a scoreline of 1 10 each.

On Sunday evening our Junior team began there championship with a home game v Dromin Athlacca Banogue.

This was a fantastic game of ladies football with youth and experience blending well to to achieve a fantastic win.

This weekend will be remembered as a new era for ladies football in Abbeyfeale as 40 players represented the club.

Next up for our Senior team are reigning County Champions St. Ailbes on Thursday 13th in Abbeyfeale at 7pm.

Our Junior ladies are next out in Adare on Sunday 30th August at 7pm.
