A little uncomfortable? Good!!

This month inside of we’ve been getting out of our comfort zones.

I’ve seen first hand the beautiful nurses in our community do the things they once thought they’d never do...

Workout in a sports bra, walking around the neighborhood in an outfit she hadn’t been brave enough to wear (until now)!!

This is just proof that the temporary discomfort when working towards your goals really is a privilege. One that helps build confidence, create momentum, and prove to yourself that you can do hard things!

Every time you choose discipline over excuses, you’re stepping into your Fit Nurse 2.0 🩷

The Fit Nurse Movement isn’t just about losing weight. That’s just what comes inside the total transformation. It’s really about:
✨ Creating healthy habits that fit around your shifts
✨ Feeling confident in and out of your scrubs
✨ Being a part of a community of nurses who truly understand your lifestyle, the struggles, the pain, the need for love and care for yourself

Every time you do the thing that scares you, you teach your brain “i can handle it’ 🐎

My DREAM job was travel nursing, but that meant I had to move from my small town in Canada with only a couple of thousand of people to Miami...

I loved nursing in my small town, and everything felt so comfortable but I knew I wanted more, travel nursing was one of those things I wanted.

So I did. But it was notttt easy 🥲

Mid-COVID, new healthcare system, new medications, new people everywhere.

I could have given up because it was hard. It was uncomfortable. I was doubting everything. But I kept pushing through and it had a ripple effect on everything that has led me to where I am today 🤯

Giddie up 2.0 challenge day 8:

We did it, and what I learned from this is that you don’t need to be perfect in the journey being you is enough you’re the only person that knows what you wanna say and has your message and just lead from the heart ✨

You’ve tried EVERYTHING, but nothing that’s been made specifically nor us nurses.

Inside The Fit Nurse Movement:
✅ Nutrition that works around shift work (staff room temptations, night shifts, 12 hour shifts)
✅ Movement designed for the energy a nurse actually has, not the energy a 9-5 worker has
✅ Real accountability, coaching and community, not a PDF and good luck
✅ A complete transformation (not just physically with 20-40+ pounds lost, but also mentally, feeling like the woman you’re supposed to be. Your 2.0).

You don’t need more willpower. You need a system that was actually built for you 🤍

I hear this from nurses constantly and I get why it feels true...

But here’s what’s happening:

It’s not the night shift itself slowing your metabolism. It’s everything that comes with it.

➡️ Skipping meals because there was no time
➡️ Surviving on coffee instead of real fuel
➡️ Grabbing whatever’s in the staff room (donuts, chips, biscuits, sugar) because it’s there, it’s easy to grab and you’re desperate
➡️ Eating at 3am because that’s the only window you had
➡️ Going hours without food and then crashing hard
➡️ Losing muscle mass because your body has been in survival mode for so long

Less muscle. Binge eating. Constant stress hormones.

THAT is what slows your metabolism, not just the fact that you work nights.

This is fixable with the right nutrition strategy built specifically for shift work!
