I read this quote from Matt Walker’s *Why We Sleep* today, and it made me stop dead in my tracks.

Whenever I take a short 10-to-15-minute walk immediately after lunch instead of plopping straight back down into my office desk chair, I retain complete control. My glucose response rarely crosses 160 mg/dL and drops back down smoothly and rapidly.
