Star Player Number 2! Johan Samuelsson!

Johan Samuelsson is the Captain of the Swedish national team and also the team captain of Granlo BK.

He won the player of the Year award for 2012/13. On www.innebandy.se, Johan Samuelsson said that it is “Incredibly fun to get such recognition. Becoming the Player of the Year is one of the finest awards you can get and it is a proof that I have done something good this year. It was a dream to come home and play SSL with Granlo. And it has really gone well, both for me and for Granlo. I´ve got a lot of confidence and a lot of responsibility and I have also enjoyed the feeling off the field.”

Johan Samuelsson was chosen Player of the Year for the following reasons:
"Johan Samuelsson was awarded the Player of the Year prize for his performance during the season 2012/13. He was the captain of the national team that won the World Floorball Championships in Switzerland. He was also the captain of the newcomer team, Granlo, who charmed everyone with their progress this season. Johan Samuelsson is a leader on and off the field with a great authority simply by being himself. Always working hard both offensively and defensively, he is playing at high speed and has great passing skills.
