The Spiny Tiger Shrimp (Phyllognathia ceratophthalma) is a tiny, well-camouflaged shrimp. It grows to about 2 cm in length, with females being slightly larger than males.
This shrimp feeds on sea stars and possibly brittle stars.
Let's get wet and meet this colourful shrimp in September onward as we kick off a new diving season!
Thanks Patrick Franzen for this beautiful pic

A look back at the season that has just come to an end…
While we wait for diving to resume in September, here is a beautiful photo by Tod Akki, taken while diving outside the bay.
If Ambon is renowned as one of the world’s richest destinations for macro life and muck diving, it also offers stunning wide-angle dives, with colourful reefs and remarkable coral diversity.
A perfect way to look forward to the next season!
